Airline based in Belize City operating scheduled
flights to several destinations in Belize, Mexico,
Guatemala, and Honduras. Belize destinations include
both airports in Belize City, Caye Caulker,
Caye Chapel, Corozal, Dangriga, Placencia,
Punta Gorda, the Savannah Station in the Stann
Creek District, and San Pedro Town on Ambergris Caye.
Destinations outside Belize include Guatemala City,
the Mexican resort town of Cancun, and San Pedro
Sula in Honduras. Maya Island Air has a fleet of
about ten to fifteen aircraft.
Tropic Air
This Belizean airline founded in 1979 is based
in Belize City and it operates nearly 200 daily flights
to many destinations in Belize. Destinations include
Belize City, Caye Caulker, Cayo, Corozal,
Dangriga, Orange Walk, Placencia, Punta Gorda,
and San Pedro Town on Ambergris Caye. Topic
Air also operates flights to Flores, Guatemala.
Their fleet includes about nine or ten aircraft.
