Information about celebrating Inauguration Day Day in the United States.

About U.S. Inauguration Day
The date on which a new president of the United States is inaugurated is a federal holiday that occurs on January 20 every four years, unless that date is a Sunday, in which case it falls on Monday, the 21st of January. If that date is the same date as Martin Luther King Day, only one holiday is given to federal employees.
