Articles and information about traveling in the Americas. Includes travel tips, general tourism information for the Americasan visitors, and information about lodging, dining, transportation, events, activities, and attractions in the Americas. This Web site was created by me (Kathie Fry) in December of 2009, primarily to organize my travel photos and my stories about traveling to destinations on the American continent, and all the travel information and notes I have gathered over the years. I find it much more convenient to organize everything on a Web site then to keep it all in a file cabinet. Another benefit of keeping everything online is that I can share all of my travel notes and photos with travelers all over the world. I love that! ~ Kathie Fry

North America		South America		Central America		Caribbean
North American countries include Canada, the United States, and Mexico. Most sources also consider Greenland to be on the American continent.		Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, Guyana, Paraguay, Peru, Suriname, Uruguay, Venezuela, the Falkland Islands, French Guiana, South Georgia, and the South Sandwich Islands.		The region between North and South America is known as Central America and it includes the countries of Belize, Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Nicaragua, and Panama.		Islands and island groups in the Caribbean Sea and adjacent areas of the Atlantic Ocean including the Greater Antilles, the Lesser Anteilles, and farther north, the Bahamas, and the Turks and Caicos Islands.

For now, each of the regional American continent guides below includes the official tourism guide for the destination (if I could find it) and a few high-quality resources on the Internet. Throughout 2010 I will be adding pictures and information, and by the end of the year each guide will have a photo gallery and information about my favorite attractions, activities, events, and lodging options in each destination.
