Commercial Airports in South Dakota

Sioux Falls Regional Airport (FSD)
1,570 acre, public and military use airport with three runways (9,000 feet, 8,000 feet, and 3,150 feet). Also known as "Joe Foss Field". In 2010 the Sioux City Airport had more then 355,000 commercial passenger boardings. It is located about 3 miles northwest of the center of Sioux Falls, in Minnehaha County in the Southeast region of South Dakota.

Rapid City Regional Airport (RAP)
1,655 acre, city-owned, public use airport with two runways (8,700 feet and 3,600 feet). It is located about eight miles southeast of the center of Rapid City, in Pennington County, in the Black Hills region of southwest South Dakota.

Aberdeen Regional Airport (ABR)

1,284 acre, public use airport with two runways (6,900 feet and 5,500 feet). In 2010 the Aberdeen Airport had more then 20,000 commercial passenger boardings. It is located in about two miles east of the center of Aberdeen in Brown County in the northeast region of South Dakota.

Pierre Regional Airport (PIR)
1,735 acre, city-owned, public use airport with two runways (6,880 feet and 6,900 feet). In 2010 the Pierre Airport had more then 14,600 commercial passenger boardings. It is located about three miles east of the center of Pierre in Hughes County in the central region of South Dakota.

Watertown Regional Airport (ATY)
919 acre, city-owned, public use airport with two runways (both longer then 6,8900 feet). Formerly known as "Watertown Municipal Airport. In 2010 the Watertown airport had more then 7,800 commercial passenger boardings. It is located about two miles northwest of the center of Watertown in Codington County in the northeast region of South Dakota.

Huron Regional Airport (HON)
1,235 acre, city-owned, public use airport with two runways (7,200 feet and 5000 feet). In 2010 the Huron Airport had more then 2,000 commercial passenger boardings. It is located in the city of Huron, in Beadle County, in the northeast central region of south Dakota.
